Male violence against women

If you have suffered or are suffering violence from your partner or ex-partner or from any man in your family or family environment or from someone unknown to you, at Eibar City Council you will find support, guidance and accompaniment.

You can attend the Municipal Social Services (prior appointment) or Andretxea, where you will be offered guidance and comprehensive and personalised support for you as well as the people you are responsible for.

The resources that are available include:

  • Comprehensive assistance for victims of male violence. Información, valoración, diagnóstico especializado y orientación para mujeres víctimas de la violencia machista. Information, evaluation, specialised diagnosis and guidance for women who are victims of male violence.
  • Emergency Municipal Refuge Service. Temporary and safe accommodation for women and their dependants.
  • Specialised psychological assistance. Specifically trained professionals offer accompaniment and emotional support.
  • Socio-educational support. Intervention aimed at women in refuge as well as the people they are responsible for.
  • Emergency financial aid. Benefits for covering basic needs where income is insufficient.
  • Legal advice. Information and accompaniment through the legal process.
