Presentation by the Mayor

Our municipality finds itself in a social context which is becoming more open, varied and diverse. Within this framework, the City Council would like to reaffirm our commitment to a coexistence based on equal rights and mutual respect among all of those who form part of the community in Eibar, recognising and valuing the cultural diversity of all.

Conscious of the importance of guaranteeing the active involvement of all citizens in the economic, social and cultural life of the city we would like to make available to you this resources guide, the main aim of which is to provide practical information about dealing with the administration and outlining the basic services available in the municipality. It is particularly useful for those who have recently arrived in Eibar and are starting their integration journey in our community.

Likewise, this guide is also for those who have been living in Eibar for some time, but are unaware of the resources available. We are convinced that they will find it of great interest and use to them in their daily life.

Thanks to the opportunities provided by the use of new technologies, we hope that this virtual guide will become a practical instrument for the general public. Thereby contributing to building a society that while it is constantly changing it is advancing towards one that has a more active and equal involvement by all and that is enriched by its diversity.
